An unexpected breakup relegates Paige to third-wheel status on what was supposed to be a romantic couples’ Christmas cabin getaway. Companion-less, and with plenty of time on her hands, Paige ends up spending most of her days either on solo exploration of the resort’s grounds, or hanging around with the owner’s nephew, Daniel, who is also the local tour guide. One of Paige’s expeditions reveals a cache of old love letters which she reads voraciously, becoming increasingly intrigued. Determined to discover the outcome of the writers’ relationship, Paige recruits Daniel to join her on a quest to find out if it is ever to late to find true love.
